Hikvision C6 PRO + dashcam unpacking evaluation

1. Four major requirements for dashcam

Through my own use, I feel that the dashcam needs to have several characteristics:

a. Large aperture, the larger the aperture, the greater the amount of light intake, so in the relatively dark, especially at night, the shooting effect is better. Lock in below F2.0.

b. Small, the last dashcam is the rearview mirror dashcam, feel too big, it is not very convenient to use, or a little small stick to the front windshield is not harmful.

c. APP download, sometimes you need to download the video recorded by the recorder, by the APP directly download this function is more convenient.

d. Glass lens, the dashcam needs to withstand high temperature, so the glass lens is the best choice.

Based on the above requirements, I chose a comparison, and finally chose Hikvision C 6 PRO dashcam.

2 The outer packaging is normal

The Hikvision dashcam package is a small square box that, like any other electronic device, is difficult to open. I hope that in the future design in the lower edge of the box cover design semicircular gap, so that you can pass through the gap, hold the box body, and open the lid.

3 compact recorder

The dashcam design is very small, but the lens looks relatively large, and the screen is fully sufficient.

The gold lens looks more eye-catching.

4 The power cord is sufficient

The total length of the power cord is about 3.8 meters, which is enough for ordinary cars. The line is not hard, and it is relatively easy to place it. It's very easy to install it by yourself.

5 Shooting is clear during the day

The license plate number of the car in front of the film is very clear during the day. The license plate number can be easily seen in the video.

Darger environments at night were temporarily not tested.

6 APP download video is more convenient

The APP can use WiFi direct connection, which can download the video retained by the dashcam during the collision or extract the video during the normal driving. No longer need to pull out the CF card and download it through other ways.

7 Set up the dashcam through the APP

Adjusting the setting of the dashcam no longer needs to look at the screen of the dashcam, and press the button to adjust it. After the APP is connected, all the functions of the dashcam can be adjusted on the APP, which is very convenient.

8 Voice recording on and off

The car data recorder can open the recording function to record the sound in the car in use. But sometimes we don't need a dashcam to record what we say.

Hikvision dashcam can voice control the recording to open and close. You only need to say these two words: "turn on the recording" and "turn off the recording". The recorder will prompt that the recording has been turned off after receiving it.

9 Green light reminder

When parking and waiting for the red light, when the red light turns green, if the dashcam can see the green light, the dashcam will remind the "green light" in time, and the measured reaction speed is relatively fast. If it is not ranked in the first two or three cars, you can do some other recorder prompt, and then operate the car.

10 in front of the car to start

When the car is still, if the car in front starts, the dashcam will prompt you to "start in front" to prevent slipping.

11 The APP has no advertising

The APP of Hikvision recorder is called Haikang Eye. The biggest advantage of this APP is that there is no advertisement, which is the basic Settings of dashcam, collision video, video, photo download and so on. There is no other messy thing, so it feels better to use it.
