You can use it only after the application is successful. Don't wait until you are really in danger. Moreover, unlike the previous Huawei Mate40 and other mobile phones pre-installed with the Changlian APP, the Mate50 needs to download the Changlian app before sending satellite messages. The receiver will display the received satellite message in the application if there is a link application, and the receiver will display the SMS message if there is no link application. Among the more than 50 satellites of the Beidou navigation system, there are no LEO satellites in low earth orbit (such as the satellite chain of the United States). The Beidou satellite adopts three kinds of orbits: geostationary orbit GEO, inclined geostationary orbit (IGSO) and medium-circular earth orbit MEO. The altitude of all satellites is more than 20000 kilometers above the ground. In contrast, the satellite service provider used by Apple is Globalstar, an American satellite communications company. The company has about 48 satellites+8 standby satellites, and the orbital height of these satellites is about 1420 kilometers, all of which belong to low-orbit satellites. Compared with Globalstar's LEO satellite, Beidou satellite has no advantages in communication function due to its longer distance.

4. Specific function realization. Mate50 can only send satellite messages and receive the receipt of the sending results, while iPhone14 can send and receive satellite messages. The Beidou satellite message sent by Mate50 mobile phone is said to have a maximum of 19 Chinese characters, because the load also contains geographic location coordinate information. Although the Mate50 satellite message has many preset items, the content can be entered by yourself. However, the satellite message of iPhone 14 is limited to the specified emergency content, and it is completely impossible to enter it by yourself.
